Procurement Shared Service Centre SME - 100% remote (Europe) - 3-4 months rolling
Our client is urgently seeking an experience Procurement Shared Service Centre SME to work on a remote based contract based on the specification below. Please note any UK applicants would need to do an IR35 assessment to determine their status.
- Wider project is setting up a Shared Service Centre/Global Business Services (GBS) Centre specifically for HR (from hire to retire). This is an end to end project and the initial 3-4 months will be mapping the existing processes, so needs someone who has strong end to end Procurement experience that can define processes, and if they have done this in a shared service environment it would be a bonus.
- For this initial phase in each of the roles the people will need to capture information from the client in a document and share it with one of the team members who can then map the processes with that information
- All of the requirements need someone who can drive client conversations and work with business stakeholders
- If the person happens to have a shared service background they will be able to give suggestions on how the processes can be defined/designed and the various options available to the client, and this will set up the next phase of the project (after the initial 3-4 month phase). Their demand will be long term after the initial phase and then will go into the "to-be" mapping and more functional consulting.
- The roles are purely business focussed and functional as opposed to technical, hence there's no specific system/technology requirement, but more that client facing skill;
