Tools Administrator - Private Equity/Financial Services - £pd (Inside IR35) - London
A Tools Administrator is sought to work with a Private Equity client operating in the regulatory technology space. Its vision is to materially improve effectiveness and efficiency of non-financial crime compliance for cross-border and domestic payments and reduce the overall level of friction in the global payment system. The company is developing a set of API-based services that financial institutions will connect to allowing them to decommission their in-house Legacy systems.
This role will be office based for circa 2 days per week with the rest remote.
As a Tool Administrator you will be responsible for:
- Administration of the tooling to support the build phase of encompassing the full software delivery life cycle
- Production of supporting documentation including configuration and user guides
- Work with the Product and Tech leadership team and chosen delivery partners to implement the tooling to enable the Ways of Working
- Support the Ways of Working Coach with the implementation of the chosen development life cycle toolset across the product and technology teams
- Support the Release and Environments Lead in the implementation of the tooling to support the release and environments strategy
- Support the Test Lead in the implementation of the tooling to support the Test Approach
- Maintain the effectiveness of tooling through the build phase, acting as the SME for product and Tech
- Provide coaching and support for the Product and Tech teams on the different tools
- Providing timely access for new team members as part of the wider Onboarding process
- Ensuring automation and repeatability of onboarding, removing any impediments in the process causing friction or loss of productivity.
Essential Skills:
. Demonstrable experience in multiple administration roles (Mandatory)
. Experience of supporting high performing teams (Mandatory)
. Experienced with a range of software development life cycle toolsets (including Jira, Confluence, relevant CICD and API focused tooling)
. Experience of working in waterfall and agile IT development environments (Mandatory)
. Experience of working within an Agile Frameworks such as LESS and or SAFe and adapting to meet the way of working (Desirable)
. Experience of managing a distributed team (Mandatory)
. Experience of performing strategic supplier management and management of delivery partner resource (Desirable)
. Experience of producing clear concise user documentation (Mandatory)
