Job Title: AWS DevOps Engineer - ECS - Lambda - Inside IR35
Location: London/Remote
Salary/Rate: £690 - Inside IR35
Job Type: Contract
We have an exciting opportunity now available with one of our leading consultancy clients! They are currently looking for a skilled AWS DevOps Engineer to join their team for a 3-month contract.
Job Responsibilities/Objectives:
- You will work as part of a "Site Reliability Engineering" (SRE) function that supports three teams building-related software products. The role involves a varying combination of planning, implementation and advising on several different topics.
- Owning initiatives (both large and small) to add to or improve DevOps related aspects in conjunction with the product teams.
- Upkeep and improvement of centralised tooling for the product teams such as build Servers, package repositories, pipeline templates, ChatOps functions, self-service tooling
- Providing ad-hoc Terraform expertise and AWS infrastructure expertise, for example reviewing Terraform changes that implement common tagging & naming strategy across AWS resources.
Required Skills/Experience
The ideal candidate will have the following:
Designing cloud systems and streamlining the development and release of a company's software products and services (including cloud services).
Provide DevOps engineering expertise to the client in adopting DevOps best practices.
Support build of CI/CD pipelines for delivery.
Continuous Integration, deployment, testing and monitoring.
Provide cloud technical implementation expertise in supporting the cloud adoption journey.
Maintaining and designing hosting environments and platforms using AWS, Azure, and Google (GCP) technologies.
