Our client is urgently searching for a strong Software Developer with Embedded, functional development, Matlab, Simulink, C, Agile, automotive to work on a critical project.

The role:
We are looking for an experienced developer that will join a team that are responsible for the software in the gearboxes that are delivered as OEM to truck manufacturers such as MAN or Navistar. Common tasks include adaptation and optimization of existing features as well as development of novel customer-specific functions. We are looking for a person with knowledge in model based programming (Matlab/Simulink) and/or experience in C-programming or equivalent. In addition, a customer-oriented mindset and a positive attitude is absolutely necessary to be the face of the client towards the customer within your field of expertise.
The job will include functional development so in addition to programming skills, the consultant must have a solid engineering background to be able to learn and understand the workings of a truck transmission system.
This assignment will start ASAP (mentioned date is indicative) and has long-term potential with very likely extensions.
Our client is based in Sweden with UK offices. This assignment can be performed remotely once onboarding has been completed. Good opportunities for an extension of the assignment.
