AWS Software Engineer/AWS/Cloud/Terraform/Python/Lambda/Contract - p/d
My client in Newport, South Wales are a large government organisation. They are seeking a AWS Cloud Engineer for a an initial 12-month contract (37 hours per week).
Roles and responsibilities:
- Experience using AWS cloud services within previous roles
- Experience of IaC writing using Terraform
- Strong knowledge surround python programming
- Building and maintenance of cloud-nature based applications
- Using DevOps tools within a cloud environment, Concourse would be desirable
- Support the architecture and engineer teams to design and introduce software
- Ensure best class cloud security solutions are used
- Include continuous delivery and integration pipelines (CI/CD)
- System troubleshooting and solving issues of included platforms
Essential and desirable skills:
- Essential - AWS Cloud, Terraform, Python, Automated Testing, Lambda
- Desirable - Cognito, CloudWatch, DynamoDB, BDD
