Azure Security Engineer, Financial Services, London
A leader in financial services is looking for a Security Engineer with strong Azure experience.
In this role you will work on:
- Deployment of landing zones and application team subscriptions across DEV/UAT and Production Tenants
- Develop/Test/Deploy baseline policies for Azure Control Plane (eg regional lockdowns, resource types, tagging)
Key Responsibilities:
- Defining a list of priority Azure Policies and Guardrails
- Setting up CI/CD pipelines
- Development, testing and deployment of policies and guardrails across all Azure environments
- Working off JIRA tickets
- Designing documentation for policies and deployed code
- Creating runbooks for operations handover
Key Skills & Experience:
- Azure Engineering
- Azure Security Center, Key Vault, Log Analytics, Sentinel and Azure Monitor
- Terraform, creating and deploying policies using the portal, Terraform and an understanding of JSON
- Understanding of Azure policies and guardrails
- Azure policy and guardrail development and testing
- CI/CD pipelines, deploying infrastructure-as-code, and commit/branch/pull request
- A background in financial services or large-scale enterprise
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Desirable Skills & Experience:
- Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) tooling
- Microsoft Kusto Query Language (KQL)
- Azure certifications ideally dev-ops and engineering
