Java Engineer/Java/R code/Python/Agile/£500 - £550 per day/Contract
My client in Newport, South Wales are a large government organisation. They are seeking a Java Engineer on an initial 6-month contract basis (37 hours per week). The role is paying £ per day for the duration of the contract.
Java Engineer roles and responsibilities:
- The client is looking for someone who has experience of software development and support with using R. If you can display evidence of optimising R code and process large datasets in an efficient manner.
- Demonstrate experience of best practice development that relates to code quality analysis and be able to utilize unit test, automated testing, and integration.
- It is key that you can participate effectively within a team environment with good communication skills both in person and writing. It would also be good practice to share skills and experience with the company support team
- Clear demonstration of strong statistical and mathematical skills
- Software development experience and the ability to utilise Agile principles and techniques.
- Demonstrate knowledge and experience of software development and support by utilising Python.
