[...] he did an outstanding job for a major client, establishing the groundwork for an application that reformed workflow and greatly increased the efficiency of day-to-day tasks.
[...] sound analysis of the business process, [...] excellent interpersonal skills in understanding the organisation's needs and uncovering the problems and frustrations its employees encountered [...] convinced both decision makers and personnel, creating huge commitment as well as a great deal of enthusiasm for the changes ahead.
What was expected to be a hard and complicated implementation turned out to be smooth, fun and efficient.
Our client continuously mentions Carsten's contribution as a key factor in the projects success.
In short: do not hesitate to get Carsten involved in challenging software changes, he will have no problems bridging the gap between clients' needs and complex software implementation."

Translating between non-technical and technical people, that's what I love, bridging that gap with both in-depth technical understanding and communication skills at the same time. The recommendation above was given by a former employer of mine, who hired me right after we had a talk about exactly that gap and I my opinions about it. Thanks Erik!
