UMTS/LTE Protocol development and Validation engineer

QUALIFICATION HIGHLIGHTS
• Around 13 years of total working experience in Cellular Mobile Communication, especially in UMTS/HSPA, LTE and in CDMA2000
• Currently working as a Senior Tech Lead Consultant for LTE UE Protocol Stack Development AS team (ERRC) in Intel Mobile Communications, Munich.
• 3+ years of experience in leading a 20 member Protocol stack team towards commercializing a WCDMA product
• Working experience in both Development and Validation teams
• Expertise in WCDMA Access Stratum modules - Design, development and testing in Intel Mobile Communications and Freescale Semiconductors
• Strong exposure to UMTS handset modem validation including Inter-Operability tests, Field testing, System testing and GCF certification
• Good knowledge of LTE and UMTS Protocol stack modules (NAS and AS)
• Strong mobile systems knowledge in analyzing system level issues and mobile log analysis
• Good exposure to Product Commercialization phase
• Experience in developing Layer 2 protocol software for Samsung CDMA2000 Base station Network and Mobile Station
• Good working experience with USA, European and Korean customers
• Good inter-personal skills to work in a cross functional team with excellent co-ordination
