Enterprise Storage Consultant

I have been working in enterprise storage for the best of eight years now and have had extensive experience with most of the products of the major storage vendors in both san and nas environments, among them HDS (SMS, AMS, USP, USP-VM), EMC² (Clariion, Celerra), IBM (DS4500), Fujitsu (DX400) and others.

Over the last couple of years, I have coordinates and implemented san and storage migrations with several hundred of TB of live data and several thousand of san ports as well as assisting my clients in administrating those environments and/or writing custom monitoring and administration tools (primarily in Perl).

I am a Brocade Certified SAN Designer and have extensive knowledge in designing, implementing and troubleshooting san fabrics with > 2000 ports and 20 domains. I have also worked with Finisar fibrechannel probes and analyzers and based on that technology have implemented a custom monitoring solution for one of my clients.

Last but not least I'm a team player and willing to learn - if you have a project that doesn't quite seem to fit my profile then talk to me, chances are that we find an arrangement that works for both of us.
