The 'Imaging, Clinical Applications & Platform' group. This group develops
and maintains the Medical Software Platform. This platform offers a family
of software components adopted by the Philips Healthcare product groups
for building their medical systems and applications. The functionality ranges
from infrastructure components like databases, connectivity software,
system services and viewing components to a Field Service infrastructure
and applications like medical viewers and diagnosis supporting tools. Within
this group I managed various type of projects as Overall Project Manager,
Project Manager - Testing.
Mainly Transfer(SIS) projects: The Projects that aim to support Philips
Healthcare product groups to integrate the platform.
Pre-development project: In Specification and design of software services for
the new generation platform User Interface.
Tasks and responsibilities:
* Managing multiple projects and its deliverables. ( lead time: +/- 1
year, staffing: +/- 40 FTE, budget:+/- 2 million Euro). Teams
composed of Different geographies (Netherlands, Bangalore-India,
and US) and Different BU stakeholders ( iXR, MR, DXR, ICAP,
CAI, DP).
* Setting budgets and agreeing project time scales and deadlines with
stakeholders together with Program Management.
* Managing multifaceted teams to ensure that all milestones are
achieved within the agreed timeframes.
* Responsible for identifying, analyzing, measuring and managing
project risks.
* Facilitating and conducting sprint planning meetings, daily scrums
sprint retrospectives and product demos for multiple Scrum teams.
* Report on project status, keeping all stakeholders apprised of status,
issues, and scope changes.
* Chaired of Technical Change Control board ( CCB) meetings, to
identify, analyses, plan requested Problem Report and Change
requests.
* Ensured effective quality control processes are in place to monitor
deliverables produced.
* Ensured that projects conform to PH Quality Management system,
FDA, CMMI standards.
* Managed and coordinating all testing activities across multiple sites.
* Ensured test case creation and linking, test execution, aligning
development support, defect management, and all status and
reporting.
* Process ownership of Defect management, Customer integration
and Maintenance management.
* Acted as Account Manager for EII and CAI stakeholders.
* Performed process improvements for Project Management and
organization efficiency:
o Making Project teams customer focused instead of
Platform focused.
o Reducing defect reject rate.
o Developed SLA way of working b/w platform teams and
customers.
* Member of Clear Quest Philips Healthcare board.
