Ace has nearly 4500 stores in US & more than 70 other countries on 6 continents.

The co-op distributes to its retailers from more than 20 wholesale warehouses and backs dealers with national advertising, insurance, and training. Dealers receive dividends from Ace's profits. Ace also manufactures paint and offers hardware and household items under the Ace brand.

Project Description:

IMs decommission is current implementation, all IMs segments will be replaced with Db2 tables.

The IMS decommissioning activity is dependent on the completion of re-platform activities, without completing this, we will not be able to decommission the IMS segments.

Project Description:

The goal of this project is to batch documents together in order to reduce travel time and create a denser pick. For phase 1 of the batch project, a simulation process is being built to help RSCs determine a more efficient way to batch documents.

Project Description:

The goal of this project is to migrate programs related to mainframe to AS400.

Role & Responsibility:

• Understanding the functionality of the requirement.
• Change the programs in order to batch the documents to create a denser pick
• Create Detailed Design document on each functionality
• Create UT Log, CL Changes and scheduling job in QA.

Environment: COBOL, CL,SQL, COBOL 400 ,AS400 .

Project Description:

A reformat is used when incoming data is in a format which cannot be loaded into the database. The INFORMATION POINTER TOOL is designed to load data from an input file into CoreLogic’s PLS database. However, the INFORMATION POINTER TOOL has limitations that prevent some of the data presented to CoreLogic from easily being loaded in to our database. When this occurs, a reformat Program Action Request (PAR) document is sent to a programmer to reorganize / reformat data in the required format along with necessary requirements so that it can be easily loaded into the database. Reformat Services deals with the first step of the data coming to the CoreLogic Database. The data being formatted by these services is the input for all other Systems.

• Coding in COBOL and DYL for the other functionalities.

• Handling defect prevention analysis - defect prevention coordinator of the team, responsible for the prevention of defects.

Project Description:

STAR Membership & Billing system handles member enrollment and premium collection from members for the services rendered. STAR system deals with the insurance coverage provided for Individuals as well as small companies with an employee strength less than 100. It also interacts with other systems like the claims, Pharmacy, Dental, Lites etc. providing all relevant information related to the subscriber or small group for data processing purposes.

Role & Responsibility:

• Analysis of Clear Query, finding out the issue, fixing the issues and testing the issues.
• Coding to fix the issues.
• Writing single time programs to extract DB’s data, to clean up DB’s, to update DB’s.
• Writing single time JCL’s and standalone programs for extracting reports.

Environment: COBOL, JCL, IMS DB/DC, DB2, Chgman,Fault Analyser, SAR and IBM Debug tool.

VISION PLUS is a family of integrated financial software products that provide a total management system for retail, Bankcard, and private label credit card processing. It is a trademark of Paysys International Inc., Orlando, Fl., and USA

Fiserv – commercial cards is a project to design business cards for small business organizations, whose business range between 100 to 200 clients. The business card designed by Fiserv will support the features of Visa and Master card.

Role & Responsibility:

• Involved in the Development of the Application.
• Analysis of Functional specification document and coding as per the FS.
• Preparation of unit test plans and unit test results.
• Code Retrofit & Testing the newly synced up code as per the requirement of Business and     

Technology.

• Preparation of TW sheet.
