  • Deployments with The Assessment Capacities Project (ACAPS):
    • As Senior Data Analyst contributed to the development of the Theory of Change for the ACAPS Yemen Analysis Hub in Amman, Jordan, and provided data development and analysis capacity to the team (January and February 2019);
    • Led a team of analysts to inform humanitarian response activities and strategy development through primary and secondary information collection and analysis of humanitarian needs, pattern and trends in the European Refugee and Migrant Crisis project in Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia and Greece in 2015/2016 and organised scenario building workshops with stakeholders in Brussels, Greece and Serbia (October 2015 – March 2016);
    • Contributed to the assessment of humanitarian needs following the 2015 earthquake in Nepal as part of a needs assessment cell in collaboration with UNDAC, UN OCHA and MapAction (May 2015);
    • Informed needs-based response for crisis-affected populations in the Syrian crisis context in Turkey through situation monitoring and analysis as part of the Syria Needs Analysis Project (SNAP). Interim management of the Turkey project team (May – July 2014).
  • Europeaid FWC, Belarus (January – April 2018): As IT and GIS Key Expert evaluated on-going GIS projects and needs and provided GIS, IT and Interoperability expertise to the Preparation of the Twinning fiche for the National Cadastral Agency of the Republic of Belarus.

  • RISE (Reference Information Specifications for Europe) project of the European Commission), 6th Framework Programme: Led the use case development of reporting surface water quality under the EU’s Water Framework Directive by various countries, assessed and evaluated their on-going activities in terms of information management and interoperability, analysed their data harmonisation requirements and the costs and benefits of data harmonisation (September 2005 – November 2007);
  • Harmony project, European Space Agency (ESA/ESRIN) in Frascati, Italy: Assisted in tailoring the Agency’s earth-observation products and services to match interoperability requirements of the geospatial community, in preparation for the development of Global Monitoring for Environment and Security (GMES) (November 2004 – December 2005);
  • Internal Reference Facility Project (RF) with the European Union Satellite Centre (EUSC) in Spain: As Interoperability Analyst captured the business workflows within the organisation and relevant links with external entities for automated geo-standards-based product development (May to December 2004);
