As a Chemical Treatment Supervisor, I did manage all the oil, water, and gas chemical treatment
process, ensuring the full utilization of equipment, materials, and personnel to achieve the
parameters required. I was responsible for the training of personnel, safety, general maintenance of
chemical injectors, reviews/assessments, and processes all schedule paperwork generated by
Planning-Engineering issued to the working team. Implemented policies to guarantee the usage of the
best chemicals available for oil, gas and water treatment through recurrent testing of new products.
* Quality control of the chemical products used for the oil, gas and water treatment, through the
implementation of physicochemical analysis of those products.
* Selection, design, and application of successful matrix stimulation treatments, including acid,
solvent and chemical treatments to improve the permeability of the near-wellbore formation,
enhancing the productivity in all types of sandstone and carbonate formations.
* Lead projects for corrosion monitoring studies, calculations of corrosion speed due to coupon
mass loss.
* Execution of NODAL analysis, before and after stimulation, to determine the change in formation
damage (skin), field studies involving a review of oil well histories and well performance for
the selection of well stimulation candidates, recommendations for improvement, and post-treatment
evaluation.
* On-site assistance in treatment preparation and monitoring real-time acidizing treatment
pressures; working with service companies to facilitate modification and improvement of treatment
procedures.
* Application of various remedial treatments (removal of water blocks and residual spent
stimulation fluids, cleanup of paraffin and asphaltene deposition, carbonate scale and salt
deposit removal).

* Design and implementation of artificial lift systems for well completions: Electrical Submersible
Pump and control of naturally flowing wells.
* Monitoring, interpretation, and control of operational variables in wells to diagnose the current
productivity, making recommendations to improve its performance and reducing the costs.
* Give support and to give pursuit to the implantation of new technologies with the purpose of
improving the artificial lift system performance.
* Coordinate operational meetings with internal and external clients in order to meet their
expectations and offer them our products and services.
* Propose the candidate's wells for Workover or completion, estimating the number of materials
necessary and budget involved.
* Identify wells troubles; anticipate premature failures through corrective actions and recording
the solutions into the historical database. This includes chemical treatments for scale
inhibition or impurities such as H2S, CO2, Hydrates, and others.
* Supervision of 145 active oil wells and coordination of 3 oil rigs for services activities.

* Guarantee the success of oil and water chemical treatments through an effective monitoring plan
for dosage control and continuing efficiency evaluation.
* Monitoring the effectiveness of oil chemical treatments, upstream and downstream of wells for
production improvement through the separation of the fluid phases (W/O/G)
* Monitoring the effectiveness of the chemical treatments for production water, preventing the
scale deposition inside the electrosumergible pumps, wellheads, surface production equipment,
systems, facilities, and pipes.
* Implemented policies to guarantee the usage of the best chemicals available for oil, gas and
water treatment through recurrent testing of new products.
* Assistance as a chemical analyst to the oil and water laboratory "Analysis Center of Silvestre"
where basics analyses are made for oil field operation, including quality control for all the
chemical products used for the oil, gas and water treatment.
