Managing highly Technical Program about decoupling monolith application into microservices ensuring highest quality and standardise ways of working acorss teams.
Program has 6 workstreams including Identity Management, Event Streaming, API Gateway and PWA.
My responsibilties include:
- Define scope & governance of program to ensure we decouple application using best architectural pattern and ensure highest quality using QA shift left practices.
- Led the QA team to transition to QA as enabling function so they write tools & frameworks to support teams
- Led the QA team to ensure that there is clear QA Strategy and standardise practices across the org including test management, approach and QA guild.
- Release management & coordination across various teams & stakeholders and clear definition of done for each workstream to ensure we reach the defined milestones as planned
- Ensuring that we have automated testing in place to releaes faster & load testing for API Gateway to ensure it can handle the load as expect.
- Reporting, risk management, dependencies management and unblocking teams are also part of my responsibilities.

* Efforts estimation containing resource and timeline estimation from testing point of view
* Define & prioritize the test scope according to the requirements
* Writing Test cases in IPSL (Independent Protocol Simulator Language), which is RedKnee proprietary
language to simulate different protocols calls for (SS7,Diameter,Map)
* Test Automation for future use of Test cases & continuous integration
* Performing complete Regression testing of service to check for any code breakage using automated
regression.
* Performing Load testing, Stress testing, Performance testing, Smoke testing.
* Enabling onsite engineers for new service
* Follow up the bugs for correction, get correction install, test, CI and then deliver to customer.
