* Helped customers to protect their IT investments. This was achieved by transitioning to next
generation of technologies resulting in the retaining and growth of the Nortel voice customer
base by conducting market research, developing new solutions, upskilling and doing system
upgrades.
* Achieved a network up-time of at least 99.95% by reducing outages for two of the large networks
for a national ministry as well as a private hotel and gaming property chain. This was achieved
through collaboration with key stakeholders that required re-engineering the networks to identify
and eliminate points of failure.
* Successfully integrated the Avaya and Nortel business units as well as staff resources and
related systems within three months following the acquisition of the Nortel global enterprise
business by Avaya in 2009.

* Grew sales by more than 30% on average for at least four years and improved customer service that
led to Business Connexion becoming the leading Nortel reseller in sub-Saharan Africa. This
resulted in several awards including the Product Manager, Channel manager, Gold partner of the
year during the period 2005 to 2008 as well as the XCalibre award in 2007 in recognition of
customer service excellence.
* Drove strategy to help customers provide enhanced customer services through successful delivery
of innovative IT solutions accessed through negotiated supply agreements with leading global
suppliers such as Avaya, Nortel, Radware, Verint, etc.
* Increased annual turnover to at least R 500 million within six years. Improved customer service
to achieve and maintain Gold partnership status through the development and certification of a
team of diverse professionals. This was achieved through strategic planning, marketing, account
management and shrewd financial management. This resulted in large contracts including the
upgrade of 18 000 voice ports as well as the rolling out of 1 000 VPN gateways to secure a
national ATM network for one of South Africa's big four banks.
* Helped customers improve productivity. This was achieved through successfully rolling out
solutions that includes unified messaging, networking, Contact Centres, etc. for large customers
across various vertical sectors throughout sub-Saharan Africa through the management of a team of
highly skilled technical resources.
* Initiated a program to reduced fax bills by at least 20%. This was achieved through the design
and implementation of Unified Messaging solutions running on Windows server platforms integrated
into Microsoft Office environments.
