As member of the network operations team I was responsible
for incident response i.e.: Proactive checkouts and monitoring
to avoid service outages or limit their impact. Troubleshooting
and fault isolation to restore service when necessary.
Equally important in my work for Royal London was managing
the firewall policy of several firewall clusters, fulfilling service
requests created by projects requiring policy changes.
In my role I covered the lead network position during several
disaster recovery exercises.
