                                                Large .Net Web Development project aiming to provide a new environment to progressively substitute all Client host applications. The project involved on average 40 people, including Developers, Analysts, Testers, DB & System Engineers. As PM deputy, I was PMO, responsible of Cost Controlling and Planning. After first “go-live”, I was ad interim designated responsible for release management and application monitoring.
 
10/2009 – 04/2010                  Issuer, Lugano: Card management programs migration
                                                A Client’s business unit, needed to evolve their mainframe banking applications. With this aim, they started a system integration project in order not only to migrate software but also to improve process/application environment. I was responsible of the entire project.

Participating in solution design of new credit and debit card management system. Responsible for requirements collecting by means of workshops and user interviews. In team, provided an high level estimation and a macro planning. In this case I had the chance to work with International experts in card management field.
 
01 – 05/2008                           KMB Bank (Moscow): New Core Banking Applications
KMB Bank was a small consumer credit institution acquired by IntesaSanPaolo  The new core banking system was decided to be a customized version of T24 from Temenos. My role as PMO manager, coordinating five consultants, was to control each of project streams.
Among these streams there were Investments and Capital Markets, developments which I was directly overseeing.
Release Management and Risk Management were also among duties.
 
09/2007 – 1/2008                    Intesa Sanpaolo Bank: MIFID Project
The implementation of the “Markets In Financial Instruments Directive” meant a huge impact on European banks. The ISP project was planned to begin only two months before MIFID coming into effect, therefore project required an extraordinary effort to deliver on time. I was the PMO, supporting Program Manager but being directly responsible for budget, planning, test and quality activities coordination.
           
02 – 08/2007                           BNPP: BNL Integration Program
A huge program activity in BNL, with a dedicated Accenture team of 19 consultants/managers.
My responsibilities:
1. Managing business analysis for six projects in Card Processing and Credit Risk Management work streams;
2. Organizing and conducting monthly project status meetings;
3. Verifying cost reporting and remaining effort accuracy;
4. Reporting monthly to steering committee;

                                                Leading teams, I was accountable for delivering projects to client in line with  budget, cost, quality and time. My responsibility was to monitor costs, manage deadlines and constantly verify quality of delivered products. I have to anticipate and evaluate risks and find actions to reduce related effects.
I participated during the entire projects’ life cycle: this means that I collaborated in elaborating business proposal, estimating work efforts, I planned and scheduled activities, I took part in client requirements interviews, I directly contributed to development reporting, or analysis model and I organized testing activity and deployment.

03/2005 – 02/2006                 INPS: Reporting and analysis system for medical assistance requests
INPS IT needed to dismiss and replace an host old reporting application but they caught this opportunity to ample and modernize the features of this service. Users of this service are some 1000, between physicians and office nurses, all over Italy. New application is reachable via Web, under security protocols. We developed with Visual Studio.Net and MS SQL Server (db and query) and MS Reporting Services. What I’ve done in this project was:
  • Collecting key users requirements and writing business analysis;
  • Entire redesign of reporting logic;
  • Development of a web application to run custom reports;
  • I managed up to 12 persons, plus some subcontractors.
     
08/2004 – 02/2005                 Telecom Italia Mobile: Prepaid service support
Telecom Italia Mobile (TIM) is now a division of Telecom Italia and is the largest mobile operator in Italy, active in GSM and UMTS services. My responsibility was to evaluate the impact that new commercial initiatives required on billing systems.
 
11/2003 – 07/2004                 Modena’s Municipality: Performance Management Indicators
The client, Modena’s municipality, needed to:
  • organize and improve key performance indicators;
  • build an all-in-one database;
  • create analysis framework;
  • connect a hundred users to this new application by means of open web technology. 
     
    03/2003 – 06/2004                 Deutsche Bank: Posizione Globale Cliente
    I collaborated with Deutsche Bank specialists to ETL developing activities. I managed a team of five Business Object  developers creating the reporting system and the web publishing. As extension of this first step, I collaborated to a “next product” analysis on same client base.

    I was senior consultant and I led a small CSC team to collect and formalize  client business requirements. I also participated in producing detailed mapping of all necessary data to support business issues.

    Start-up project to deliver B2B marketplace to centralize procurement for the entire Unicredit Group, particularly focused on office furniture, technology, paper, etc.
