  1. In Feb 2010, I worked for IBM Maximo to Oracle EBS data migration and interface.
  1. I worked on a project to standardise the Item Classification, Attributes, Measurement and Attribute Values and Item Descriptions in IBM Maximo ERP. Also customised Maximo screens to display and search functionality on the Old Description for 13000 raw material items with approx. 150,000 attribute. Designed a simplified excel format and used Oracle External table to develop generic ETL job to load, clean and update the data.
  1. I had also worked on Query optimization and Actuate Report development project. After millions of transaction the reports got very slow in Maximo. EPCL had given me the task to optimise the report queries and also develop customised Analytical reports in Maximo. I have optimised few report queries from 15minutes to 5seconds.
  1. Also engaged in SAP-Maximo integration project as consultant. The operational modules in Maximo are seamlessly integrated with SAP modules with all functionalities.

I have played a dominant role in design and development of DW, ETL and BI reports. It also calculates the order point quantity and minimum order quantity of Items. 1. System for Internal Audit and Evaluation Department
Analysed, Designed and developed system to computerize the audit Division using Oracle 8i and Developer-2000 (Forms 6i). The system provides all types of financial and auditing activities.

2. Zone wise budget estimation  for LAN and Power Cabling to computerise zones
Analysis of the information received from 26 Zones of State Life Insurance Corporation and prepared a comprehensive report covering:
  • Quantity of items needed for power cabling and components required for LAN.
  • Specification for Servers, PCs, Printers, Line Printers and essential hardware.
  • Specification of Operating System and software required for each zone.
  • This report also showing the individual and total cost to computerise all zones.
3. Migration of All Operational Applications     
This project is planned to complete in two phases.
Phase I: Migration of database from Oracle 7 to Oracle 8i
Major responsibilities
  • Prepare Server based on Unix Ware 7.1.1 and Installed and configured Oracle8i.
  • Coordination with vendor for licensing of Oracle Products.
  • Understanding the existing database objects
  • Created database, Tablespaces, Schema Objects and migrated all data from oracle7
Phase II: Migration of Applications
Major responsibilities
  • Plan and schedule the project. Assign tasks to team members.
  • Training of team members on Developer 6i.
  • Conversion of whole application from Oracle Forms3 to Forms 6i
  • Conversion/Re-development of reports from RPT & Reports 1.5 to Reports 6i.
  • Define all standards for UI and Developed Object library and PL/SQL library for this purpose.
