Design Engineer

Configuration management and Technical release support for all the components of Gas turbine aircraft engine and product data management of aircraft engine. Exceptional knowledge of Teamcenter to manage Technical release of component drawings. Delegated Technical release engineer for aero engine Drawings. Project coordinator for Drawing alterations, Managing a team and establishing relationships with customers. Technical interface with Manufacturing, Supply chain , Engineering, Specialist & Supplier in order to release the component for further assembly. Excellent organizational skills in planning and Effectively managing multiple projects with continuously improving Quality processes to meet project timescales. Initiation of Definition alteration request after interacting with various stakeholders. Technical review of change request to improve configuration of product definition. Mentor and trainer for new engineers on drawing check activities. Improved process documents and supporting engineers for the design assessment. Establishing and maintaining a strong interface with project management to guarantee successful ​​​completion of configuration management tasks.

Supporting for Technical non-conformance assessment process on Gas turbine aero engines and Quality process for producibility team of Rolls Royce Germany division. Initial review and understanding technical information for decision, Drawing & Design specifications as per RR standards and design responsibility for non-conformance. Processing the non-conformance request using SAP from suppliers input and ensure that root cause analysis is done correctly with quality analysis tools(Fish bone diagram, Why Why,8-D report) and initiate appropriate corrective actions. "Delegation for non-conformance quality check approval" from RR, Final review of decision subsequent completion of assessment from the Non-Conformance Approver (NCA). Technical Coordination with various stakeholders, NCA's Designer's, suppliers & Specialists to complete assessment and release component for further machining/assembl

Tasks
Technical assessment of non-conformance on aeroengine
components and providing the design solutions.
Experience on assessing the deviations on turbine blades &
vanes for more than 2 and half years. Creating 2D layouts,
Model alteration and assembly of mating components.
Understanding the deviation and reason for the caused
deviation. Proposing acceptance/rejection/salvage based on
the deviation and phase of assembly (fit/form/function).
Verifying the proposed solution through stack calculations
and worked on DAR to implement the changes in designs.
Using aero manager tool (RR customised software) and UG
NX to get clarity on assembly and mating components and
Preparing salvage instructions to detail the operations to be
carried out for salvage on a damaged component.
