Our client, is seeking an experienced E-commerce Project Manager (Change background) with in depth experience of delivering and managing digital transformation projects to work with internal teams and vendors to define and execute plans for a new E-commerce solution based on key business strategy. The individual must have strong communication skills, be proactive with a continued appetite to complete projects swiftly and efficiently.
The project is an end to end delivery, thus a demonstrable background of taking E-commerce solutions from inception through to a live environment is critical.
The company is building a new solution which comprises of a mix of open source, open code and licensed proprietary products all with a proven track record readily integrated through a Middleware layer. It is this Middleware (Enterprise Service Bus) architecture that enables the solution to adopt new components without incurring excessive integration costs, provides a bridge to any Legacy systems where necessary.
In addition Drupal forms the core content management capability and Spryker enables a variety of standard commerce capabilities. The product information management (PIM) system is to be Akeneo and Extensis Portfolio will provide a more comprehensive digital asset management (DAM) capability.
The role will manage a project delivering to a business in Berlin. The majority of the time will be spent in Berlin and excellent German and English language skills is a pre-requisite.
