Python Developer (Embedded) - Hamburg - 6-12mths+
My customer require a Software Engineer with experience in Python development and distributed high-performance computing.The team is located in the Vulnerability Analysis Department, which focuses on Security testing on Hardware level.
Tasks:
- Development of an internal vulnerability analysis tool used to assess the security of developed products by mean of statistical analysis of physical measurements. The computations are being distributed on an HPC clusteers
- Improvements and Implementation of new features
- Structuring the development process, and improve software performance, reliability and maintainability
Skills:
- Python, MPI, (C, C++)
- Experience in development and design
- Experience in high performance computation (parallel processing, distributed computation)
- Rigorous approach of SW development (feature - test - doc)
- Revision control (Subversion, etc.)
- Proficient in Linux mainly, ability to perform light system administration tasks
Additional nice-to-haves:
- Cython, Numpy
- Statistical knowledge (data crunching)
- Academic experience of implementing efficient algorithms to solve numerical problems
- Basic knowledge in cryptography and physical attacks
- Experience with Jenkins
Remote option: max. of 1 day per week remotely.
