To provide technical expertise for the design, integration and maintenance of complex and highlycustomized IT solutions. Recognized expert within the organization and internal/external visibility.
• Technical Capability. Guides teams, using top-level technical expertise in a wide range of
systems or in depth product knowledge and implements technical best practice. Alerts and
influences management on availability of new technology/ changes to existing methodologies
• Process. Defines, drives and improves technically related service processes. Influences problem
escalation in critical situations to resolve customer issues
• Service Level Achievement. Manages systems within SLA and/or customer requirements,
proposing, defining improvements and implementing changes to meet service level requirements.
Technically leads implementation of changes
• Project Work Deliverables. Leads technical implementation/ designs including producing cost
and timescale estimates to meet service delivery requirements. Consults in the tender stage as a
high technical expert in complex projects. May give training, presentations and workshops
• Customer Interaction. Establishes multiple relationships with senior level customer to act as a
respected technical interface in order to deliver and enhance the service
• Problem Solving. Takes ownership and provides consultancy level expertise to resolve major
technical problems for IT systems or IT infrastructure solutions
• Implementation. Leads the implementation of complex and customized projects including
reusable elements
• Reduction of Risk. Identifies and assesses risk in an early project stage and ensures through
robust fall-back scenarios that the availability of systems is not put at risk
• Team Working. Leads, promotes and drives knowledge sharing, development of other team
members and collaboration in the product development and solution design area
• Meet Customer Expectations. Understands the requirements of the customerÂ?s business, the
scope of the contract/project and knows the impact on delivery of service; controls costs, quality
and time for delivery tasks. Proactively contributes to identify and win new business

Anforderung:
? Minimum of 5 to 6 Years of Consulting and Administration Mandatory, Configuration and Support
Experience on RedHat 5.x/6.x/7.x and SUSE 10.x/11.x in an advanced Data Center Landscape.
? Minimum of 3 to 4 Years of Consulting and Administration Mandatory, Configuration and Support
Experience on Veritas Cluster and Veritas Volumemanager 6.x.
? Experience in Trouble Ticket System (HP Service Manager) , Knowledge of service management
processes based on ITIL, Experience with SLA-oriented way of working, handling ticket system
? Development of technical concepts, strategy paper and quality assurances.
? Excellent communication skills.
? Able to work independent and in a project team.
? Fluent English in spoken and written form.
? Able to consult on technical designs and new features.
? Intercultural experience and work in a cross-cultural team
