My client is a leading telecoms company in Dusseldorf and requires an experienced VOIP engineer to join initially on a 6 month contract to support the growing work load.
Responsibilities
Planning and implementation of complex IT telecommunication projects in an international environment.
Care, development and optimisation of the unified communication platform (Microsoft lync) including voice gateways and existing contact centre solutions.
Management and improvement of the existing remote access solutions.
Support of the LAN, the global network and the WLAN infrastructure.
International 1st and 2nd line support and if necessary on-call support.
Requirements
Sound knowledge in the areas of Network Telecommunication & services (routing, switching, QoS/CoS, VOIP, SIP, H323).
Experience with Microsoft lync, CTI, IVR, Telepresence and Contact centers.
Knowledge in the design of VOIP and Unified communications solutions and in the areas of telecommunications links and SIP trunks.
Ability to work independently and a willingness to learn/travel (within 20%) required.
