Solution Integration Tester, OSS Systems
Project People are currently working with a leading Telecommunications company who are based in Backnang, Germany and they are seeking an OSS Systems Tester to join their team on a 6 month contract basis.
The purpose of the role will be to participate in analysing complex requirements and proposing solutions in cooperation with the Core team.
To be successful in this position, you will have the following:
- MSC, MBA, or equivalent in Telecommunications, Computer Sciences or Electrical Engineering
- Extensive service delivery experience and a background in R&D infrastructure
- Profound knowledge of SI in OSS domain and software engineering
- Database knowledge, in particular Oracle, PostgreSQL and LDAP is beneficial
- Excellent knowledge of NE protocols
- Test documentation/automisation (Imbus) knowledge
- Experience of creating customer acceptance documents
- Competence in IMS and core networks, IMS node interfaces and relevant NGSSM SBI & NBI
- Excellent knowledge of UNIX/Linux and ITIL
Key responsibilities of the Solution Integration Tester will be to:
- Understand customer's needs and translate them into delivery actions to ensure the highest customer satisfaction
- Selecting or proposing 3rd party suppliers/products for the solutions
- Create/modify test plans/documents
- Perform tests
Due to the nature of work involved, fluency of the German language is required.
