Our client is currently looking for a Data Center Solution Architect (m/f) for a project in Munich.Your tasks:
- Working with business units to define migration and transformation strategies be a single point of contact (m/f) for assigned business units for technical topics
- Lead and coordinate technical migration strategies
- Governance over the supplier, reviewing and refining designs and documentation
- Develop new technical strategies for changes in direction
Profile
- Experience: Very broad architecture knowledge (x86, pSeries, Mainframe) Large scale migration experience Communication with management and governance
- Good knowledge of Disaster Recovery Concepts and best practices
- Longterm experience of Datacenter architecture, network communications knowledge (LAN, MAN, WAN), OS, Storage
- Experience in virtualization knowledge, public/private cloud, automation orchestration, email, content management
- Ability to work on several problems simultaneously
- Experienced transition architect required, previous experience in handling data center transitions, shift of services to 3rd party providers is a must.
- On-site presence in Munich required, min. 3 days/week, better more
