We are currently recruiting for our client, a Global IT & Telecommunications Organisation for a Project Manager to join their project in Germany.

Position Title: Field Force Project Manager
Position Type: Contract
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 3 months rolling
Location: Dusseldorf, Germany

The Project Manager will be leading the development of the workforce management solutions for field services. It includes leading the project team to analysis the business requirements, development of the software requirements specifications and project manage the software development, test and verifications with relevant engineering development sub-streams and fulfill the objective in the very shortest possible time.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Plan the project
- Create a detailed work plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the development of the workforce management solutions;
- Determine the resources (time, money, equipment, etc) required to complete the project;
- Develop a schedule for project completion that effectively allocates the resources to the activities;
- Review the project schedule with senior management and all other staff that will be affected by the project activities; revise the schedule as required;
- Determine the objectives and measures upon which the project will be evaluated at its completion.

Implement the project
- Let the sub engineering stream to execute the project according to the project plan;
- Develop forms and records to document project activities;
- Set up files to ensure that all project information is appropriately documented and secured;
- Monitor the progress of the project and make adjustments as necessary to ensure the successful completion of the project;
- Establish a communication schedule to update stakeholders including appropriate staff in the organization on the progress of the project;
- Review the quality of the work completed with the project team on a regular basis to ensure that it meets the project standards.

Control the project
- Reporting the project on weekly and monthly management governance routines;
- Ensure that all financial records for the project are up to date.

Evaluate the project
- Ensure that the project deliverables are on time, within budget and at the required level of quality;
- Evaluate the outcomes of the project as established during the planning phase.

SKILLS EXPERIENCE REQUESTED:
- Minimum 5 years experiences in project management role in Telecom industry and OSS application development;
- Good understanding of the field service and network rollout business;
- Past experience with Work Force Management solution design and development is a plus;
- Willing to adapt/work in a multi-culture environment including German and international colleagues.
- Business fluency in English is a must. Fluency in German desirable, any additional languages are a plus.

QUALIFICATIONS
- University degree in relevant studies;
- Prince II project management qualification is a plus.
