A Renewable Energy client is looking for 2 Bilingual Procurement Officers to work on their offshore wind farm project. The client is looking for 2 individuals who could start this role 1st January 2015 for approximately 1-2 years on a fixed-term freelance contract.The individuals will be reporting to the Head of Office Procurement and must have a proactive work ethic and be very good communicators, with a good technical understanding/background. They must also be able to travel regularly.
Job Description:
Strategic and operational procurement for offshore wind-related tenders and contracts within the clients centre of competence of Renewable Energies
Development of sourcing strategies to identify and implement savings potential as well as concepts for securing resources
Steering of targeted development of suppliers and new supplier sources and markets as agreed
Closing framework agreements within own area of responsibility, utilisation of relevant existing framework agreements
Intensive co-operation with the project teams as well as Asset Management and legal and other business interfaces
Tracking and ensuring planned cost reductions
Identification of and ensuring of company internal and overall procurement synergies, as well as identifying and minimising procurement risks
Qualifications/Skills:
University Degree in Business Administration or comparable background with in-depth work experience
Specialist knowledge of procurement in the energy business and relevant supplier knowledge in offshore wind
Strong performance orientation and ability to handle conflicts, plus business acumen
Mobility and experience in complex procurement projects
Ability to work in intercultural teams
Distinctive team player who enjoys co-operating within the client procurement community
Business fluent in German and English. Danish and Swedish language skills would be an advantage
