Co-coordinate and administrate the 2 servers (1 partly managed and the other fully managed via vendor)
*Maintain and operate the global and local IT infrastructure required by business needs concerning networks, data centres, server technologies
*Manage the IT infrastructure security requirements
*Work with the providers concerning capacity management and service management
*Ensure a timely resolution of IT infrastructure related support cases
*Facilitate uninterrupted application availability and performance
*Ensure the continuous improvement of solution design and implementation process as well as the related support processes in cooperation with providers and other IT departments
*Participate in the innovation process
*Ensure the knowledge transfer inside and across teams and Production of infrastructure documentation
*Configuration and installation of new and upgraded technology
*Provide support for the configuration, integration and acceptance for any technology upgrades
*Triage infrastructure server and network issues
*Server Builds
*Perform Disaster Recovery
Required skills and experience:
*Good Infrastructure background including Virtualisation, Storage, disaster recovery, server build
*Knowledge of the Microsoft Operating Systems and all mainstream Microsoft products
*Communications methods and protocols (TCP/IP, DHCP, WINS, SNMP, DNS and related applications)
*Disaster Recovery , Change Control and Configuration Management
*Proven track record in support, infrastructure management and or infrastructure solution design
*Sound knowledge of IIS
Highly desired experience / skills:
*Microsoft Certified Professional with exposure to .Net technology
*Experience of dealing with IT Services Suppliers/hosting services.
*Utility software (e.g. Mainstream Anti-virus, Netbackup, SMS, Remote Control Applications, etc.)
*Sun/Solaris, Unix & Linux
*LAN/WAN and communications infrastructure (Ethernet cabling, hubs, routers, switches etc.)
*ITIL V3 Foundation
