MS SQL DBA (Database Administrator) - Contract - Utrecht, Netherlands

We are currently looking for a MS SQL DBA (Database Administrator) to start ASAP on a Contract basis (3 months rolling) for my client based in Utrecht, Netherlands.

Must Have Skills:
Strong MS SQL product knowledge.
Write technical documents
Building severs and databases to global standards
Extensive performance & tuning experience
An understanding of fault-finding database client connectivity
An understanding of database security and auditing
An understanding of network, concurrent access and locking issues.
An understanding of database logging and recovery and how to recover from the various failure scenarios.

The following technical skills are desirable:
Strong knowledge and experience with database security (in particular database encryption technology, but also procedures around that, like Segregation of Duties and Key Management)
A good understanding of Sybase ASE 15 in a multi-platform (UNIX and Linux) environment.
Unix Shell Scripting
Experience performing server consolidation
Administration of databases in a Storage Area Network environment
