On behalf of one of our clients, an international financial institution, located in Frankfurt, we are searching for external support with skills and abilities as stated below:
Team Member (f/m) Implementation OTC Service for Total Return Swaps
Business Area
OTC TRS Clearing
Tasks and Responsibilities Area
- Support the specification phase by defining and reviewing the respective functional specifications for new clearing services of Total Return Swaps product using Calypso System
- Identifying dependencies to other functional areas or business processes and mitigating potential risks
- Consultation with the business developments, application development and market participants
- Understanding both market requirements and technical implications associated with Calypso System extension
- Functional support of the implementation phase and analysis of functional issues
- Support functional acceptance of new clearing services of Total Return Swaps
Qualifications and Required Skills (mandatory)
- General functional knowledge of OTC derivatives
- Outstanding analytical skills
- Sound understanding of quantitative risk management for financial and non-financial instruments
- Know how in the area or trade processing for OTC derivatives including the interaction with trading platforms
- Know how in the area of post trade processing for derivatives
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, a proficient manner as well as project experience
- Proficiency in written and spoken English
- Experience in programming SQL, VBA or XML/FpML would be an asset
Required Work Experience
Experience in financial industry as business analyst with focus on OTC business and interaction with Central Counterparties.
Assignment Details
- Location: Eschborn
- Duration: beginning January until end of March, 2015; prolongation envisaged but not guaranteed
- Capacity: fulltime
