Quality Manager, Munich
We are looking for a Quality Manager for an ongoing contract role with an international mobile telecommunications vendor based in Munich, Germany
The responsibilities of the role will include.
- Organise, coordinate and monitor the quality project systems, ensuring the projects comply with the quality standards and ensure that subcontractors are maintaining the required quality standards.
- Work with the organisations customer to understand their specific quality requirements and ensure they are being followed by subcontractors.
- Be the main point of contact in relation to the quality of project work to customers and subcontractors.
- Establish a comprehensive documentation system that monitors identified quality issues and how they are to be resolved.
- Organise the creation of quality plans, method statements, risk assessments and quality control processes.
- Perform timely and effective handling of the quality management and best practice processes to the engineering projects in order to minimise the impact of poor works.
We are looking for applicants that meet the following criteria;
- Bachelor's degree in engineering
- Advanced mobile telecommunications knowledge
- Excellent understanding of quality management procedures
- Excellent training skills and the ability to coach & support subcontractors in best practice and first time right methods
- Knowledge of quality engineering, mainly in civil works and technical installations
- Knowledge of Telefonica (O2) processes and equipment is advantageous
- DQD Certified professional are highly desired
- Capable of developing and implementing effective quality systems in accordance with ISO9001:2008 or TL9000
The role is an ongoing contract and available at short notice, English and German skills are essential.
