The Company
Consol Partners are currently looking for an IP & MPLS Network Engineer for our global client to be based in Hamburg, Germany.
The Role
Design, Test & Implementation of the required changes & capacity extensions in the IP/MPLS Core Backbone
Connection of the Mobile Data & Voice Service platforms to the transport IP-networks according to the functional, capacity, performance and redundancy requirements
Documentation of the IP-Designs in Word and Visio format
Documentation of network elements such as ports, MDF, patch-cabling, interfaces, IP-addresses in o2 inventory systems
The Individual
Design & optimization of Cisco based IP/MPLS networks
Deep knowledge of Cisco Routers 12xxx, 76xx, 72xx, ASA, Switches 65xx
Solid knowledge of the Mobile Core network architecture (3GPP Rel.)
Analytical thinking, flexible, fluent in English & German, pro-active, team player as well as leadership, solution oriented, good communication skills, project management skills
