Our client - a major mobile telecomms network company - is looking for a Networks Expert to act as their newly appointed Head of Network Services.
The applicant must have an end to end & deep understanding of mobile/wireless network planning, evaluation and optimisation procedures & processes for 2G, 3G, LTE networks from within either a managed services or R&D environment.
This is a strategic role in which the Senior individual will be expected to lead and shape long term design and development in order for the company to further establish themselves as a world leader in Network Services.
Candidates must have a detailed knowledge of RAN, Core, IP and OSS/BSS networks, their performance, optimisation and planning procedures. The successful candidate will have an intimate knowledge of working in a managed services environment, and will ideally have been responsible for the maintenance of live or development initiatives for the latest mobile network technologies such as;
- IMS
- RCS(e)
- VoLTE
- Cloud, NFV/SDN
- SQM (Service Quality Management)
- CEA (Customer Experience Assurance - for data and VoLTE networks)
This is a very senior role, which expectations of managing multi million pound budgets on an international development level.
The desired candidate must therefore exude the necessary gravitas to drive global programmes and consult with leading industry experts from a technical and managerial perspective.
