This job begins with a 6 month contract and has the very strong possibility of becoming a permanent job or just continue with no end after this. The focus is Architecting Virtualized solutions with a solid base of in Wintel, AWS (Ideally) and a good understanding of automation. 50 % Design, 50 % Supporting this design.
This role is ideal for an architect or a Wintel admin with the ability to automate/virtualize/design
The job:
- Architect and support virtualized solutions using AWS as a platform and Wintel Technology.
- Windows and associated systems such as networking, storage, severs, databases, etc
- Design solutions from scratch, including testing, POC, Documentation for production environments on AWS.
Have you?:
- 5+ years as a Wintel Admin at a minimum. Design/Architecture experience needed beyond this.
- Ideally AWS experience, but VMware/Citrix experience from a design perspective would also be considered.
- Skills required in: Windows Servers, AD, Exchange, SQL Server, Desktop and system Virtualization
- IT automation software for system administrators
- The ability to script/code for the purpose of configuration, deployment and scaling Servers and applications
