- Project Delivery operating in accordance with the requirements of the Change Governance Framework
- Manage the interdependencies, risks and issues of a project on a day-to-day basis
- Ensure that the workstream/projects produce the required deliverables, to the required standard of quality and within the specified time and cost, producing a result that achieves the benefits defined in the respective business case
- Apply the customers Project Management standards and comply with relevant procedures
- Delivery of major change projects, work streams or portfolios of smaller projects, understanding the dependencies and synergies between different activities
- Ensuring that projects are aligned to, and deliver against, the programme objectives and business strategy
- Planning and monitoring the project progress, resolving issues and initiating corrective action as appropriate
- Managing the project budget, monitoring the expenditure and costs against delivered and realised benefits as the Projects progress
- Ensuring projects are fully resourced to meet their project objectives within time, cost and quality constraints
- Ensuring engagement of business partners and stakeholders during entire implementation process
- Ensuring the delivery of new services and business capability from the projects is to appropriate levels of quality, on time and within budget, in accordance with the Project Plan
- Quality Assurance and overall integrity of the projects
- Managing third party contributions to the projects
- Communication with programme and project stakeholders, including Programme Manager, Executive Committees, Project Steering Groups etc as required
- Managing dependencies and interfaces between projects and programme work streams
- Management of risks and issues affecting the work stream/portfolio of projects delivery
- Reporting work stream/project portfolio progress at regular intervals as appropriate - Deep experience in project management, including:
-> Budgeting, Reporting and Managing/Leading cross-functional teams populated with a high proportion of IT/technical specialists
-> achieving alignment and buy-in to delivery when this might oblige individuals and work groups to change or add to their daily job content
- Good understanding of strategy realization, business process and IT-solutions
- Strong communications, presentation and moderation skills and ability to place self in the shoes of the intended audience:
-> To produce clear and unambiguous business requirements (business analysis)
-> To synthesise the key commercial implications/decisions out of complex technical information and vice versa to ensure key business objectives are not compromised
-> To capture attention and commitment at all levels through high quality presentations
- Detailed knowledge of systems and processes used in Banking IT / ops working practices, tools and techniques (to ensure correct interpretation between business and system requirements)
- Experience of the processes required to implement software solutions in a consumer finance (credit card; loans; deposits) environment
- Business case development
- Proficient with MS software suite, including MS Project
- Strong team player with high conflict resolution skills
- Assertiveness and negotiation skills
- Fluent in spoken and written German and English
- Industry experience in the Banking/ Financial Services field as Project Manager
- High motivation

Nice-to-have:
- PMP or Prince II Foundation / Practitioner
