Regional Representative for KPI Acceptance & Optimization
Purpose of roleClient is performing in the operators Network Transformation project the swap of old RBS and Siemens base station equipment to RBS6000 equipment for GSM (900MHz&1800MHz) and WCDMA (2100MHz) plus an addition of LTE on most locations. This network modernization is performed in 4 of the operators regions. Each region has a local team which is responsible for site planning, civil works, ASP, management, KPI acceptance and project management.
The purpose of the role is to support and to re-enforce the regional KPI teams.
Tasks and responsibilitiesKey tasks and responsibilities for the project organization area
The KPI & Tuning team is responsible in the acceptance process for the radio performance of the newly installed RBS600 technology in the operators network for GSM, WCDMA and LTE.
The acceptance is based on OSS counters for GSM & UMTS and based on drive tests for LTE. Those KPIs are analysed and put into KPI-reports.
The owner of this role has got the following tasks and responsibilities:
- Support the regional representatives in KPI-report-generation
- Conduct in depth analysis of site location which failed acceptance KPIs
- Supporting the regions in drive test coordination (with ASP)
- Support project management by collecting and providing data for progress reports (project progress and swap performance)
- Act as stand in for regional representative
- Knowledge and experience in Radio Network Planning and Optimization for GSM, WCDMA, LTE
- Courses recommended
Qualifications & experience
o Overview GSM/GPRS, WCDMA/HSPA, OSS-RC
o RAN Software and features of GSM G13, WCDMA W13, LTE L13
- Good process knowledge about all NRO (network rollout) processes
- Understanding of database management, radio network planning and optimization tools and field measurement tools
- 4+ years' experience in NRO/KPI & Tuning projects
- Very good knowledge of the Microsoft Office applications, specifically MS Excel, MS Access
- Very good understanding of Ericsson way of working in KPI & Tuning domain
- Very good English communication skills
- German knowledge would be the perfect add on skill
- Microsoft Office Applications
- EriDoc, EriColl and LAN access to department and projects specific drives and workgroups
- EDOS tool suit (eg ODG, E///RAN Analyser, ITK)
- TEMS tool family (eg TMS discovery, TEMS investigation)
- SQL Databases and SQL Access (eg MS Access)
- Excellent communication skills
