A Renewable Energy client is looking for 4 Client Reps to start in May 2014 until 30 September 2014 with possibility of extension. These individuals will be focussing on offshore wind farm projects in Germany, with offshore rotation being 14 days on/off. Night shifts will occur.Task to be included:
Maintain an accurate record of all installation activities on a daily basis throughout the execution phase
Ensure that all relevant approved procedures and risk assessments are followed by the contractor
Ensure the Contractor proactively manages safety and quality
At all times whilst on duty, act, behave and lead by example according to the clients values
Participate in preparing the DPR to be used.
Prepare and distribute Daily Progress Reports (DPR) as required.
Ensure the DPRs are signed by all required parties.
Review and understand RA/MS and QHSE documents as required before execution phase commences and keep updated on changes in the documents.
Attend daily meetings, toolbox talks and any other discussions to ensure that the works are being carried out in a safe manner to the required quality.
During all defined key activities and otherwise as often as practicable, be present as a witness during installation. Access all work areas provided it is safe to do so.
Participate in weekly safety walks with HSE representatives from the client and Contractor organisations.

Can recommend and agree to minor changes to the various works going on a daily basis within defined limits
Has the authority and responsibility to stop the installation activities immediately if safety or quality may become compromised
Qualifications of Candidate:
Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience within cable client representative
Offshore transfer; Survival at sea with HUET (or BOSIET); Working at heights; Offshore medical; Confined Space etc. (Mandatory)
Offshore lifting experience and LOLER training
IT proficient (Microsoft Word, Excel and Internet)
CDM and Marine awareness qualifications as required by the package role
IOSH Managing Safely
The Consultant must bring his/her own PC with Microsoft Office 2007 software and mobile telephone.
The Consultant shall bring his/her own PPE (Personal Protection Equipment) and shall provide all safety training to comply with the clients site requirements.
The following will in particular be rated positively:
Experience from working on Energy projects
Able to work independently within the first week on site and contribute constructively to the team work
Good coordination skills, ability to perform under challenging conditions and keep track of all relevant subprojects/tasks
Comprehensive knowledge and experience of ISO 14001 and 18001 in relation to working on wind farm projects
Other issues
The client intends to request the Supplier to document possession of relevant certifications according to German labour regulations prior to entering into a call off agreement. Note also, that the consultants do not qualify as freelancers under German legislation. Therefore, regulations regarding mandatory social contributions must be observed.
