Our client is an international company.- Adds and maintains users on the network; assigning application access, ensuring security, and maintaining their configurations are within standards.
- Assists and advises Sr. Engineer to determine appropriate technology solutions for the staff.
- Will be primarily responsible for the installation of workstations and printers on the LAN.
- Assists in gathering bid prices on equipment and supplies as needed and presents findings to the Dir of IT/Sr.IT Engineer for final approval.
- Monitors and reports licenses on applications to ensure compliance to the Dir of IT on a monthly basis.
- Works closely with the Sr.IT Engineer and third party (RMS) to ensure network clarity.
- Perform duties of Helpdesk Specialist as required.
- Ensures that all Microsoft patches are applied to all servers as required by policy.
- Monitor VMWare virtual servers react and make recommendations accordingly.
- Responsible for keeping local It resource inventory.
- Approximately 3 years experience with Windows Network in a dynamic environment with 100+ users.
- Experience installing support and managing Windows 2007, 2003, 2000, XP, and Windows 7, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and wireless technologies on IBM and Dell information systems.
- Strong internet skills.
- Hands on experience with PC and Siemens, HP Pro-curve and Cisco Telecom Hardware.
- Professional certification in Microsoft applications.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on building rapport, listening and questioning skills.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- The ability to communicate in both written and verbal form in English.
