Project environment
As the Senior Project Manager for PEX project Tools & Automation in a global Swiss bank you take E2E responsibility for project deliveries in time cost, scope and quality. You cooperate very close with internal clients, business analysts and development pools and further subject matter experts.
Tasks
• Manages all aspects of a project, which includes project planning, execution, controlling, change management, reporting, timing, quality, cost, documentation and early identification of potential issues/risk management.
• Schedules and manages the project according to the project management plan and ensures all relevant project deliveries during all phases.
• Manages relationship with all project stakeholders.
• Coordinates regularly with the Business Project Lead concerning requirements, project plan and reporting.
• Establishes a set of practices that ensures the integrity and quality of project work products.
• Ensures all necessary sign-offs according to the guidelines and performs all relevant reviews.
• Provides the stakeholders with transparent, accurate and regular information regarding the status of committed project deliveries.
• Ensures that the project follows SDLC principles/standards. Comply with given standards and regulations.
Requirements
• Minimum 5 year experience as a Senior Project Manager for high scale and high complex projects (approx. > 5 Mio. investment and/or cross divisional and international project scope) preferably in global companies within the financial industry.
• Leadership and ability to assert oneself.
• Deep knowledge in Project Management (process, methods/agile and standards). SDLC knowledge and experience preferred.
Soft skills
• Transparent and structured approach.
• English oral and written (must).
• German oral and written (recommended).
• Awareness regarding outsourcing and offshore partner.
