A Renewable Energy client is looking for a Marine Logistics Operations Manager to work in Hamburg on a long term contract, starting as soon as possible. This Marine Manager will be required in the Hamburg office 5 days per week focussing on a Baltic offshore wind farm.The Marine Logistics Operations Manager will give support to the Logistics and Offshore Construction Manager in the delivery of the management of all marine operations activities.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all marine operations
- Contributing to the tender and being responsible for the co-ordination of all owner's logistics such as guard vessel, CTVs, Accommodation Vessel, DP and W2W Vessels
- Defining the concept and managing the Marine Co-ordination Centre (MCC)
- Staffing up client reps and co-ordinating the offshore works teams
- Planning and co-ordinating offshore campaigns such as the installation of wave - and field marking buoys
- Organisation of site weather measurements and provision of weather forecasts
- Communicate with the relevant authorities such as WSD/WSV/Customs via agency
- Expert in all marine aspects, such as vessels, harbours and offshore transportation and installation
- Experienced project manager and in managing people
- Relevant knowledge with marine coordination and client reps.
- Experienced with BIMCO contracts
- Excellent skills of written and spoken German and English language
