For our client we are looking for an Engineer - Driver assistance systems (m/f).
Aufgaben:
The Engineer - Driver assistance systems is the technical expert for camera and radar based assistance systems such as Adaptive Cruise control, Collision mitigation systems or lane keep assist, within the E/E team.
- Definition of the technical component and systems needs during the concept phase.
- Creation of the functional objectives for driver assistance contents of a new vehicle application.
- Supporting the system engineering during the design reviews to ensure that the functional objectives are reflected by the specifications.
- Definition of the technical performance requirements for the specific application, taking into account the specific application, homologation requirements, specific market needs and Euro NCAP assessment protocol safety assist.
- Technical reference for all involved parties, e.g. Chassis or Vehicle integration department.
- Evaluation and Definition of all necessary activities and strategy of integration.
- Validation of the driver assistance systems and functions.
- Definition of the overall verification and validation for the driver assistance systems (e.g. bench test, HMI test, vehicle application and verification requirements).
- Definition of test vehicle configuration.
- Supporting the E/E and vehicle integration team.
- Supporting the Project Chief for all technical matters.
Skills:
- Degree in electrical / electronic engineering or equivalent
- 3-5 years of experience in electronic components development.
- Understanding of automotive component development lifecycle and related requirements.
- Technical background on radar and video based sensors and their application for driver assistance systems.
- Experience in requirement engineering.
- Experience in test engineering.
- Functional safety (basic) is a plus.
- Experience with DOORS, CANOe and Office applications.
- English is necessary.
- Italian is a plus.
- Good team player with an efficient communication.
- Analytic skills.
