Edinburgh: Business Analyst - up to £340 per day. EA Change Groups' Edinburgh based Banking client urgently requires a motivated and experienced Business Analyst to join them on a contract basis.
The successful candidate would be working on the Common Reporting Standards which is a regulatory project to introduce global exchange of information between tax authorities. This follows the US FATCA regulations but extends to c. 100 countries by 2018. It will require changes to on boarding and due diligence processes from 1 Jan 2016 and provision of data and reporting on customers from Q2 next year
Accountability
The BA will be expected to understand the requirements of the regulation as interpreted by Group Tax and Compliance and assess the impacts on commercial banking, establish Divisional requirements and work with Divisional and the central CRS programme teams in defining solutions.
Experience required:
- Knowledge of the FATCA regulations, requirements
- Strong analysis skills
- Good communicator
- Ability to understand regulatory rules and translate these into business requirements
- Programme will have a data focus so data analysis skills would be beneficial
- Strong client focus
- Time management and delivery to tight deadlines
- Able to cope with fluid requirements and scope changes
