Data Analyst - Banking
A fantastic opportunity has just arisen in the beautiful city of Edinburgh for an experienced and ambitious Data analyst to work for a large UK financial services organisation on an initial 6 month contract.
My client is looking for a focused and driven data analyst with experience in AML and a background in financial services to provide support to the management team to enable delivery of the SAM 8 programme part of the Transaction Monitoring Bank Wide Portfolio within agreed governance delivering to agreed timelines.
Interface and support all project stakeholders to ensure they have a full understanding of their responsibilities and commitments to the projects and the impact of the project on the customer and their respective businesses
What we need from you;
- Working knowledge of business operations
- Financial service experience
- Data analysis and data mapping experience is essential
- AML experience is desirable
- Stakeholder engagement & relationship management
- Customer transaction experience is essential
- Corporate awareness
- Methodologies and project life cycle in a change environment
- Planning tools
- Risk management
- Previous work experience in a Project/Change Management environment and/or working knowledge of a business operation and related technology
- Gathering information from a range of different sources and in a number of different ways eg data collection, meeting inputs/outputs, review of documentation.
- Ability to plan, organise and prioritise workloads and work on own initiative
