Project environment
The Managed File Transfer Coordination Team of a global Swiss Bank is responsible for the implementation of MFT file transfers in all supported environments and platforms (Solaris, AIX, z/OS, WSP, WGS, Red Hat Enterprise Linux and AS400). Managed File Transfer Coordination also provides configuration related support for MFT file transfers definitions and accompanies the customers through the different test cycles.
Tasks
• Implementation, modification and deletion of file transfers in all environments according to the information provided in the corresponding MFT Service Request and the "Best Practice" standard templates.
• Check up on the information provided in the MFT Service Request; correction of wrong information found in it and returning of invalid MFT Service Request s to the requester.
• Initiation of the PSO process and tracking of the SW component manager PSOs.
• Support of customers regarding MFT Service Requests and Managed File Transfer in general.
• Incident and problem handling regarding file transfers definition in all environments.
• Collaboration and participation in projects.
Requirements
• Education as computer scientist or business data processing specialist appreciated.
• Experienced IT user with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the IT field.
• Competent knowledge of at least one of the following operating system families: z/OS, UNIX and Microsoft Windows.
• Knowledge of IT basics, e.g. Mainframe in general, Databases, Networking & File Transfer and IT Security.
• Knowledge of bank related procedures is an advantage.
Soft skills
• Speak and write German, English knowledge (at least Level B1).
• Teamwork, initiative, independence, competence, efficiency, friendliness, communicative skills, ability to work under pressure, carefulness / precision, assertiveness.
• Secure, mature and pleasant appearance, good manners, networking skills (social).
• Ability to judge, ability to set priorities, analytical abilities.
