For our client in the banking sector in close Frankfurt area, we are immediately looking for an experienced Backend-Developer (JAVA/MATLAB)The Client wants to offer a new FX hedging product to their clients.
The product will generate FX orders that will hedge their clients' FX exposure.
To this end, they have kicked off a project to create a tool to automatically generate orders based on the client portfolios.
Project Description:
- Matlab and Java development - for integrated development and test activity of a passive FX management system.
Must Haves:
Strong programming background in Matlab
- Senior experience in programming Java (i.e. frameworks: JAXB, MyBatis, JDBC)
- Experience in financial markets/Banking Sector/Investment/Asset
- Experience in XML/XSD
- Experience in unit and integration tests (i.e. JUnit)
- Database knowledge: SQL /RDMS: Oracle
- Fluent in English
NIce to Haves
- Fluent in German
- Analytical background and a degree in mathematics, physics, engineering or computer science
- Unix operating systems + shell scripting (Linux, Solaris optional)
- Experience in FX markets
- Experience in order execution

Duration: 3 MM + extension
Start Date: April 2015
Location: Frankfurt area
Capacity: Full time /4-5 Days/Week
100% locally / Remote possible in exception
