Our customer in Hamburg is looking for a:
Development Engineer High Voltage (High Voltage designer)
Tasks:
- Development, calculation, simulation and design of high voltage units in the medium frequency range (50kHz to 200kHz) for X-ray generators with permanent services from 200W to 5kW and excellence to 120kW.
- Design of the electrical components (cascade circuits, high-voltage measuring divider, high-voltage diodes, high voltage capacitors, damping resistors), as well as electromagnetic components (high voltage transformers, chokes resonance, etc.).
- Interpretation of the required high voltage insulation (thermoplastics, thermosets).
- Preparing, monitoring and performing electrical tests
- Create the necessary documentation (specifications, test reports, etc.).
- Creating and developing the necessary PCBAs in high voltage.
- Planning for own activities
- Implementation of Changes in Life Cycle Management (LCM)
Requirements:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, High-Voltage/Power Electronics
- Experience in the design of high voltage insulation with plastics (thermoplastic, duroplastic)
- Knowledge of medium frequency power modules (resonant topologies)
- Knowledge of simulation tools (eg Maxwell 2D/3D, Ansys, Spice, Simplorer)
- Knowledge of analog and digital circuit design
- Good command of English
