For our client we are looking for a Senior IT Infrastructure Analyst / Administrator.Duration: ASAP, 4 months
Location: Hamburg
- Own and enhance relationships with client stakeholders and service suppliers that define and demonstrate value in how a portfolio of IT services are being managed
- Responsible for managing overall IT operations, service delivery and support
- To assist in the management and development of International's systems, services & products
- Administration of current and future systems used in GTIS Germany
- Promote exploitation of the infrastructure environment within IT & business
- Ensure Infrastructure enhancements provide a cost effective solution to the needs of the business
- Delivery of infrastructure to support the business strategy for BCE Germany
- To deliver Infrastructure projects to Prince 2 Methodology standards.
- Capture demand across the business line; facilitate planning and prioritization of change delivery within the aggregate demands placed on GTIS.
- Ensure uninterrupted IT services by partnering with various technology towers for successful technical delivery of end to end solutions and thereby aiding to achieve optimum IT infrastructure performance
- Lead the strategic development and growth of IT service delivery in line with defined and prioritized business plans and all such IT strategic initiatives/standards are implemented from time to time
- Plan, coordinate and supervise designated activities on behalf of the Head of Infrastructure related to the design, development, testing, deployment, support and maintenance of new or existing IT infrastructure and information systems
- To develop close working relationships with the business and senior stakeholders/CDRs to manage clients' expectations and demands proactively while maintaining good client relationships.
Project Analysis 40%
- BAU service issues & escalations and on-site technology support/ representatives in case of major issues
- To have clear understanding of the functioning and hierarchy of each department.
- Assess and identify the resources according to project requirements
- Ensure that the technical capabilities are inline with project requirements when a new technology is introduced
- On introduction of new technology, ensure personnel are trained in the same
- Ensure greater productivity with optimal team size within the budgeted project cost
- Ensure that high level of service is constantly delivered to clients and the other departments as per agreed SLA
- Facilitate prompt action during crisis
- Negotiate business and technology priorities in line with demand and supply
- Monitor the reports of calls logged, resolved and pending on a daily basis
- Adhere and ensure that the team follows security policies and procedures as laid down by the organization
- Interact with the operation Manager, team Leader so as to understand their issues (if any) and communicate the same to program manager to bring about improvement in service delivery

IT & Technical Skills 60 %
- Windows Server administration (W2k3(8)(12))
- Administration of Windows networks (DHCP, DNS)
- Windows (W2k3 (8)(12)) Active Directory administration and configuration (GPOs etc.)
- Administration of large VMWare 5.(1) environments
- Administration of systems as well as Software packaging and rollout using Microsoft SCCM
- Windows Desktop Management and Administration using standardtised tools
- Knowledge of the most common Backup- and Storage Technologies
- Knowledge of WAN & LAN Equipment and Technologies
- Knowledge and practicing of the ITIL V3
- Knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and management tools
- Knowledge of WAN & LAN infrastructure
- Knowledge of Prince 2 methodology
- Knowledge of ITIL V3 library, framework and methodologies
- Knowledge of bank security & encryption solutions
- Proven ability to analyse & design infrastructure
- Management of external suppliers
- Understanding of business imperatives & provide appropriate solutions
- Undertaken capacity and sizing exercises for infrastructure
- Understanding of running and building resilient, robust and performant infrastructure components
- Experience of delivery DR capabilities is desirable
- Experience of working with encryption components is desirable
- Good documentation and presentation Skills
- Candidate should be able to handle complex situation
- Self-motivated and effective decision making
- The candidate should have hands on experience on analytical skills. He/She should be able to analyse based on previous history, lessons learnt or while dealing with any Risk /Impact, defining pros and cons of project/Service success criteria, stakeholder business case analysis and so on.
