We are looking for a 'Senior Performance Test & Tools Consultant' for a contract role in Munich, Germany.
My client is a leading telecom solutions provider. Through continuous customer-centric innovation, they have established end-to-end advantages in Telecom Network Infrastructure, Application & Software, Professional Services and Devices.
With comprehensive strengths in Wireline, wireless and IP technologies, my client has gained a leading position in the All-IP convergence age. Their products and solutions have been deployed in over 100 countries and have served 45 of the world's top 50 telecom operators, as well as one third of the world's population.
Your Responsibilities will be:
- Work independently to do research on leading performance test methods throughout all phases of the R&D performance test life cycle for Huawei IP-based products(core Router, SDN, NFV etc.).
- Work closely with performance test team of Huawei products to understand and communicate their needs;
- Collaborate with performance test R&D team to create innovative R&D performance engineering method and tools.
- As a leading expert of performance engineering, conduct and coordinate relevant researching activities; Coordinate joint research resources outside of company (collaborative company, university, etc.).
- Improve internal team's design capability Through coaching/review/workshop.
Our Requirements are:
- At least Five (5) years of relevant experience in performance test design and execution of IP-based products such as core Router, SDN, NFV, etc.
- At least Three (3) years of relevant experience of performance test in telecom operators (Deutsche Telekom, O2, Vodafone, etc.) or vendors (Ericsson, Alcatel Lucent, Nokia Siemens, etc.).
- At least Three (3) years of relevant experience in operating performance test tools(IXIA, Spirent, etc.).
- Good knowledge in IP-based network, Router, NFV/SDN.
- Excellent diplomatic and communication skills.
- Working language is English.
- Worldwide short-term travels are required.
