Media Systems Engineer Automotive Infotainment
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- System engineer for Media in automotive infotainment projects.
- As system engineer, analyses and clarifies customer requirements and created internal specification
For our customer's development section.
- Follows development progress and ensures that the feature is rolled out in time. Ensures market launch of the feature.
- Together with the assigned System Integrator reviews and ensures that the verification of the implemented features is correctly done by System Test team.
- In case of complicated requirements, supports development in selecting the right design and system test to create the right test case.
- Manages the daily tasks of a small team based on the priorities set by the superior.
- Capability of understanding business strategy of the company.
BACKGROUND:
- Know how in Software Integration and Module/Acceptance testing
- Good experience level with QNX Momentics and MS Visual Studio
- Solid background with development and requirements engineering of Embedded systems preferably in the area of connected media devices such as iPod and other media (eg USB, SD).
- Know-how in multimedia formats and codecs is preferred, but optional.
- Advantage: Experience as customer interface with good negotiation skills
SOFT SKILLS:
- Ready to show accountability for a complex Media area as System Engineer (not developer).
- Preferably has some leadership experience with coordinating/controlling small teams (3-5 people).
- Solution oriented thinking.
EXPERIENCE:
- Min. 5 years experience, including Automotive experience.
